A Family Story Behind the Cuisine

The journey of Kerala Kitchen began with Londoner Lewis Cummings, a newspaper man with a passion for South Indian food. After honing his culinary skills and witnessing food traders at a festival, he realized his dream of sharing Kerala’s flavors with others. He started by serving at festivals, gaining popularity for his coconut chicken and potato curries. In 2016, after establishing a strong market presence, he and his wife, Grainne, opened their first restaurant, marked by a cozy, earthy interior that reflects their family values and commitment to quality.
